Services We Provide
Estate Planning
Simply put, estate planning is the process of defining what you would like to happen to your assets (things you own) and minor children when you can no longer make those decisions for yourself. That could be due to incapacity or death. The law supplies a processwhere you can make those choices through estate planning while you are alive and well and have the desire to do so. Why is it important? Because we never know when or if a catastrophic event will no longer make us able to make those decisions and take care of thisimportant process until it's too late.
Asset Protection
Asset protection is the process of adding layers of protection to the assets you pass down to your loved ones to supply better protection from loss in a divorce, creditors, and even predators. It helps to make sure the valuables you have accumulated during your life will be there for use for them and future generations.
Kids Protection
Creates a plan for your minor children to ensure they are taken care of in the short-term and in the long-term in the event you are unable to be there to do it. This planning makes sure that your children are always with the person you choose and that you trust and know they will be taken care of in the way you would want. Our KPP includes an emergency wallet card along with the legal documents to provide for the well-being and care for your children in the event of an emergency.
Wills
A Will is just one form of estate planning. It allows you to name a person to oversee the distribution of your assets, name who will receive what asset, name a long-term guardian for your minor children, and provide for final burial or cremation arrangements at your death.
Trusts
Trust is an agreement where one person (trustee) holds onto assets for the benefit of others (beneficiaries). The person that develops the Trust is called the Trustor (our client). Trusts are set up to provide legal protection for the trustor’s assets and to make sure that those assets are distributed according to the wishes of the trustor. A Trust is one of the best ways to keep your loved ones out of court and conflict when you pass on. Its also a way to lay the foundation for building legacy and generational wealth for your family.
Probates
The process in law that the state uses to pass ownership of your assets that are titled in your name only when you die. This process passes your tangible belongings to another person (a beneficiary) to now own and have the assets transferred to their name.
